Strategy Evaluation Protocol (SEP)

Every six years the NWO institutes are evaluated. This is done using the Strategy Evaluation Protocol (SEP), which was created by NWO, KNAW and UNL to give evaluations of research groups and institutes a sound basis. The nine NWO institutes were evaluated and rated as excellent by committees of international independent experts by the end of 2023. The scientific research they conduct is of absolute excellence.
