Recognition & Rewards

You achieve the best results when you can do what you’re good at or want to be good at, and when you can be yourself.  With the ‘Recognition & Rewards’ programme, we aim to fundamentally overhaul the way we evaluate, support and value staff within NWO-I.  We focus on all staff members.

Sustainability

At NWO-I, we are working on research that helps find solutions to the challenges of today and tomorrow. Sustainability is an integral part of this.

We are working towards climate-neutral operations by 2050 at the latest. Our approach focuses on making our research and research infrastructure, our buildings and our operations more sustainable. We are reducing energy consumption and emissions where this has the greatest impact, and making conscious choices in areas such as mobility and procurement. In addition, we encourage research to be conducted as sustainably as possible, without compromising on scientific quality. This sometimes even leads to sustainable innovation, such as more efficient computing or energy solutions for the future.

We do this together: by respecting the unique character of our institutes, and by encouraging collaboration and the exchange of best practices. In this way, we are building, step by step, a future-proof and inspiring research environment with a lasting impact on society.

Our internal regulations provide further details on these basic rules and agreements. These documents are, at the moment, only available in Dutch.
