What constitutes an accessible website?
An accessible website is one that can be better navigated by all target groups. Functional, technical and editorial accessibility requirements therefore apply to websites from public sector bodies. These requirements are stipulated in international guidelines for web accessibility (only available in Dutch). You can read more about these on the government website concerning digital accessibility (only available in Dutch).
Digital accessibility audit
In June 2026, this website was assessed by an independent body to determine the extent to which it complies with accessibility requirements. You can download the report from this web page.
Working on accessibility
Based on the results of the audit, NWO-I will continue to work on improving digital accessibility.
Non-accessible PDFs
This website contains a limited number of PDFs that are either partially or not digitally accessible. NWO-I has endeavoured to provide an accessible summary for these PDFs wherever possible. If you encounter any problems with the PDFs on this site, please contact us at info@nwo-i.nl.

This portal has an accessibility rating of B. You can find more information in the accessibility statemeny (in Dutch only). The official label will be available on this website shortly.
