Beate Völker joins the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
Beate Völker is stepping down as Director of the NWO institute NSCR (Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement) and will join the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam as of September 2026.
The NWO institutes guarantee the highest standards in scientific research. This is demonstrated, amongst other things, by the six-yearly assessment carried out by external international evaluation committees.
Linda Russchen is a catering assistant at ASTRON and prepares lunch four days a week. She is also being trained as a receptionist for the institute. In this role, she welcomes visitors to the Dwingeloo site.
New director of NIOZ as of 1 September 2026: Maaike van de Kamp-Romijn
